An Ottawa native, Daniel Kingsley has tried his hand at many things. He has been a tax collector, private eye, skip tracer, alarm monitoring tech, security officer, teacher, and investigator. He has been studying martial arts on and off for a number of years and earned a 2nd Dan in Hae Dong Gum Do in Deagu at the Mae Ho Dojang under Master Park Young Il (5th Dan). His first time doing any work on a weapon was when his Kwanjang Nim Park taught him to wrap the hilt of a training sword. After returning to Canada and starting to study under Andrew Keyworth at Jinenkan Ottawa Dojo he suffered a knee injury that is now chronic. Never one to give up he found a new direction for his martial arts studies. The manufacturing of Weapons and armour. After all, behind every great army and martial artist is the armourer who repairs the weapons they break, and the armour they damage.
